Heath Ledger

More than a year ago, Diggers proved their devotion to actor Heath Ledger when a story, breaking the news of his death, received more than 23,000 Diggs. Since then, Diggers have upvoted numerous stories about Ledger - from the cause of his death, to every award he's won. So, it's no surprise that this morning's most popular piece on Digg is Heath Ledger Wins Oscar.

ROLcats

Cats have proven to be funny in any language, thanks to ROLcats. Although it didn't have a traditional Digg headline, users promoted it to the front and left comments like "
Communism and kitties... together! What will they think of next?" and "Dugg for awesome."

"Creepy much?"

^ It's the first comment on the post "One model, five aging looks (PICS)" on Digg. The original post shows a model posing as a 10-year-old, a woman in her 20s, 30s, 40s and 50s.

Palindromes

Could you create a 224-word palindrome? Demetri Martin did, and Diggers went crazy for it, adding their own palindromes too. Radar, anyone?

End User License Agreements can be a hassle to agree to -- and if you don't like that burden of making a decision, you can make your cat decide for you.
Don't like EULAs? Have your cat agree to them went popular on Digg and stayed there as Diggers made comments like "Brilliant, I love it!" and "Time to get a cat."
